IIMs expect 10% rise in applicants this year; Times of India, July 29, 2013

NEW DELHI: Indian Institutes of Management are expecting an increased number of registrations for the Common Admission Test 2013 (CAT 2013) due to an increase in the number of seats. Around 115 seats have been added taking the total seats across 13 IIMs to 3,335. The organizers also expect a bigger participation by female candidates as IIMs have started giving extra points during admissions to women.
